I knew from the start of my quest that I could not believe in the existence of God just for the sake of it. I needed proper scrutiny from multiple sources. My stringent search for God (which is a lifetime pursuit) has me traveling the Universe for answers and the truth by means of science, philosophy, and the study of diverse cultures and religions.
I am God’s servant, but I am now God’s unshackled servant, given the pass that allows me to roam in all of His glorious universe. NOW I can truly discover what it’s all about, leaving nothing out, sifting through the garbage whilst drinking the champaign.
I passionately believe there are potential “Jedi [sic]” among us, metaphorically speaking. People who are naturally connected to God for inexplicable reasons, meaning it is not manifest because they practice any particular religion.
Have you ever broken someone’s trust? Has your own trust been broken?
So, I thought to myself, is he a genuine spiritual person? Just because he is a Scientologist does that negate his spiritual self? Is he simply misplaced in that religious order? Or worse, is he the enemy?
With shows like the brilliant West World and the new equally brilliant Raised by Wolves, both on HBO MAX here in the states, the topic of what is reality is hotter than ever, reaching mainstream homes. But in our quest to find the answers we must not allow ourselves to be so overloaded and confused with questions that we ignore some of the answers.
The subject of sex, not what sex you are, but the act of sex, is one of the most, if not the most, contentious subjects in Christian Faith and philosophy.
I always knew this moment would come; even knew the choice I would make. But I prolonged and procrastinated, trying to extend my time, like a child who never wants summer vacation to end.
Would I unravel in the same way in the absence of God? Do I love God in that same profound heart-pounding way? Think about it. Isn’t it the same? Shouldn’t we experience the love of God on that deep primal level, even more so?
We forget and live our lives as if it is only one day for chocolate bunnies and lamb for dinner. These are cultural norms, but it is not the true celebration, the one that should be inside each of us as we give our thanks to our God through Christ in the quiet spaces of our souls.
