I always knew this moment would come; even knew the choice I would make. But I prolonged and procrastinated, trying to extend my time, like a child who never wants summer vacation to end.
Would I unravel in the same way in the absence of God? Do I love God in that same profound heart-pounding way? Think about it. Isn’t it the same? Shouldn’t we experience the love of God on that deep primal level, even more so?
We forget and live our lives as if it is only one day for chocolate bunnies and lamb for dinner. These are cultural norms, but it is not the true celebration, the one that should be inside each of us as we give our thanks to our God through Christ in the quiet spaces of our souls.

When Jesus was with us, we failed to see what God had delivered firsthand to us, the ability to stop the violence and hatred that plagued the world and make a new choice for love and peace.

We’re truly lucky that we live in a time that has the resources and money to tackle a crisis such as this. We can be certain that people and industries are working tirelessly for innovative solutions. But the real innovation is the humankind. Yes, there are those thinking selfishly, but the majority are doing the opposite, selflessly offering themselves to others. What a beautiful thing to witness, man helping man.
The people of the Bible looked straight to heaven for the answers. They asked directly, not through a mediator. Free yourself from man-made requirements of worship. God is for you. Christ is for you. I am only a resource to help when needed, nothing more.
There are only three things you need to know to be a true Christian and live by faith; God exists, Gods power is Love and Christ will show you The Way. Having unwavering faith based on these three beliefs forms the core of your relationship with God.
Jesus was ahead of the pack from the beginning. He foresaw it all. He warned to beware of false teachers and charismatics that charm you but bring all the attention to themselves. Jesus called out the Jews of his day precisely for that reason. Their faith was about outward appearances and not about true faith to God.
