God is connected to humans.

It’s a vast universe that God has created, far beyond our comprehension.

In that vastness He created Earth and a special species with consciousness capable enough to think higher than all other life forms as we know it, that is us.

He also gave us the mechanisms for a highly evolved spirit. I believe all life forms have a spirit in them, and just like mental capacity, capabilities vary. Ours has limitless possibilities, but they’re not automatic.

Think of the spirit like our other attributes, metal and physical. Both the mental and physical require maintenance and development to get the most out of them. We know that the more you apply, the more and better results you get.

Here’s the crazy part, we completely neglect our spirit our whole lives. Some of us go to church and believe that’s all we need to do. Most do nothing at all. We have this secret ability, but leave it untouched.

We’re taught that we don’t have to do much at all, if anything. The prevailing ideas are that the spirit is self governing and fully capable on its own without any input on our part. Sorry to say, but that’s completely wrong.

Religious practices attempt to train us in spiritual development, but really do a poor job across the board. Most get some things right, but none of them get all of it right.

We’re in an age where we can correct that, but it requires us to be willing, diligent and committed.

We’ve fooled ourselves into thinking:

• The spirit is automatic.
• Minor participation and random thoughts of ‘belief’ are enough.

Only genuine connection matters, regardless of your chosen label. After that, your willingness determines the value and strength of that connection.

God is connected to all life forms and non-life forms alike. He is the thread through it all. It’s up to us to take it from dormant to magical.
