Sola Fide
Martin Luther uttered the edict “Sola Fide” in the 16th century in response to corruption in the church by individuals taking bribes for false promises of salvation. It was also a response to theology that adhered to earthly constructs instead of genuine connection to God, such were the times. For millennia man was taught that participation was enough to gain Gods favor on Earth and ultimately salvation.
