The concept of God, how Jesus fits into the overall plan, how science can no longer be ignored by religion, etc. is not new ground, but the discussion spaces are over-saturated and becoming incomprehensible from all the cacophonous noise. The wisdom is swallowed up in a mass grave of tired methodologies. Our era of oversharing is part of the enemy’s plan to make so much noise that one can no longer single out what is truth from deception. At the very least we can safeguard ourselves by sticking to the basics if we trust the scientists and the core religious institutions. Together they will continue to steer the majority to a better human existence, hopefully one that is sustainable.

The basics are thoroughly covered by science and religion and are readily available for everyone to learn. However, ultimately they are not enough and will only get you to a remedial level of spiritual development that doesn’t get you the promise of a rich connection to God. My time discussing the basics has run its natural course. I am focused on deeper levels of spiritual development beyond dogma and traditional Christian ideologies; new understandings for those with truly diligent hearts and sincere souls; but moving beyond the core teachings requires a commitment that few can fulfill.

In the midst of the current era’s distractions, good times and all, there are more serious underpinnings unfolding. As we glorify God and Christ in church, the world outside is morphing, for good and bad; which may be business as usual, but the truth is that we are potentially on a runaway train heading to a cliff face; just because we are enjoying prosperity now, doesn’t mean it will last. Remember that God is real. Christ is real. Good and evil are real. Develop your soul’s capacity to thrive and endure.
