Part 7: Experiencing God…

There’s no point in having knowledge of God if you’re unwilling to experience God.

To truly know God you must experience God.

It’s in the experience that we develop our deepest understandings by our connection with God.

Think of moving to a new city. Can you get to know it in a single day? A month? Or by living there?

The conundrum of our relationship with God is that most people think they’re ‘good’ with only a bare minimum of attention given to it. Again, autopilot Spirituality. If you stop to think about it, it’s pretty silly.

I blame it on two things:

1. Humans are fundamentally lazy and want things as easy as they can get it. Give it to them and they’re like “f’ yeah”! If they have to work for it? A lot less enthusiastic.

2. Our spiritual teachers made it easy for us by selling a whole lot of malarkey. The “Stand up, sit down, say a few words, money in the basket, see ya next week” method.

In my studies, I discovered the fundamental question as a pastor was this, ‘why are so many people claiming to be religious, yet almost everyone is completely unconnected to God?’

It took years of thought to finally conclude that it’s the methods that have led almost everyone astray, and the most important part is, there’s no sincere genuine connection to God, of which means if you don’t have it you have NOTHING!

Experiencing God is the game changer!

I’ve thought about God my whole life. In my late teens I realized the most important question the world must ask (I mean above all others) is:

Does God exist?

Answer that and it changes everything!

Either way it’s answered determines how you get past ‘Go’.

I always experienced God in the background, but when I did FOR REAL consciously, to say it was profound is an understatement.

There’s no ‘how to’ manual for this. It’s a process that we’ll unfold together.

As always…

Get connected! Stay connected!
Peace!! 🥰🙏🏼❤️
