Part 12: How to connect to God V

So then, to get connected to God beyond the initial tethered spirit lying dormant in each person one must believe in God first.

How can I believe in something that sounds irrational and crazy?

When I made the decision to give in wholly to the pursuit of God I made a commitment and bound myself to the facts I would uncover. If I had found God, great! If it was a hoax I would commit myself to that understanding just the same.

I then embarked on asking the simplest and most complex questions in that pursuit, not being satisfied until the answers were rock solid.

My ministry is built on a foundation of truth disclosed and discovered, not built on an emotional or psychological impetus. I have no personal needs here. I commit to truth and once discovered I feel compelled to share it for YOUR sake and for God’s, for God wishes it to be so.

If God designed the universe and us in it, wanted us to be in a lasting relationship with Him, why did He make it so difficult to know and connect to Him?

Here’s what I know:

  • We’re born naturally connected to God.
  • Through our upbringing via cultural influences we negate, confuse and distort this connection.

So, it is not that it is difficult to be connected to God, we’re born with it. But with a lifetime of negation, we then have to try to REGAIN that connection after spending our whole lives telling ourselves that it’s NOT real.

Yes, a lifetime of religion should have done this, but it hasn’t. When I asked myself why and studied religious practices I concluded that despite sincere efforts from all religions, their efforts are poor at accomplishing their desired goal.

Hence, if you go to a shitty school you’ll get a shitty education, period.

You don’t believe for two reasons:

  1. Because you’re taught relentlessly by society and culture not to believe.
  2. Because you’re spiritual education was corrupt, poor, misleading or nonexistent.

As always…

Get connected! Stay connected!
Peace!!
