After letting go of all your biases and starting anew on your quest to find and connect to God, what now?

I’ve written that all you need do is ask and God is there, because He has always been there and will always be there.

You are now with renewed eyes and spirit, so you can activate this connection available from birth, like lungs and heart alike, to utilize it for your own sake and for those whom you touch by your living and sharing.

Do not look for lightening bolts of instantaneous illumination or heart pounding lung filling moments of ecstasy from some spiritual high you will miraculously receive. It is nothing like that, I am sorry to say.

You may feel nothing perceptible and for many this will discourage, but rather be patient.

Be silent and patient.

This is your test of commitment to your sincere endeavor to be connected to God, despite not yet full of faith in that connection that will surely come over time.

• Your commitment in the silence is your expression of faith to God.
• God is watching to see if you’ll give up in that silence.
• Or, will you remain to show your commitment and trust and willingness and openness, as He determines that you are truly sincere.

Be patient and let it unfold naturally over its own time over seconds, days or even years.

There is no prescription for any of this, which is why rituals are a false path of hope leading to nothing but emptiness.

Each person is an individual as much as in all endeavors throughout a persons life.

So, be patient with an open heart, mind and spirit, awaiting your own personal connection that has nothing to with anyone but you and God.
