The apostles were aghast because some dude was successfully expelling demons and healing in Jesus’s name, yet they were sometimes struggling to do the same.

In their minds the real offense was that this guy wasn’t even a follower of Jesus and his crew.

They were the real deal and he was an imposter.

Jesus responded by saying, “All those who are not against me are for me.”

Meaning, why should he stop a well intentioned person whose heart was in the right place and obviously connected to God, for he wouldn’t be able to perform miracles if he wasn’t connected to God.

One of the biggest problems with religious leaders today is their prescribed agenda and dogma that was decided upon a long time ago in the early formation of the Christian movement and church.

It is true that If it hadn’t been assembled and written down it would have eventually been lost to history, or so muddled over the centuries that it would’ve eventually become unintelligible nonsense with no cohesion whatsoever.

However, in the creation of the Bible, old and new, many important concepts were left out due to clashes of ideas, personalities, perspectives, philosophies, politics etc.

For us today, its relevancy needs updating, to put it bluntly.

God is always, but humans are rapidly evolving, especially in the last 100 years.

Our religious leaders don’t try hard enough to help people give a shit, not by forcing them with coercion or guilt, but by convincing them that it truly matters.

All leaders should be proclaiming so loud that they’re shaking the land and lighting up the skies with glorious thunder and lightning!

Their voices should be reaching heaven itself, like the Jews of the Bible, the foundation of it all!

The time of lazy worship is over, way over!

Show God you’re in, not out…

And if you’re out, step aside…

If you’re in, stop bellyaching about going to church or being embarrassed to speak openly.

GOD favors the bold!

You’re His proud children.

Be bold in your stature and hold fast in your commitment.
