Do I have to? That’s what children say when they don’t want to do something.

I don’t like everyone and I certainly don’t love everyone. I’m a cranky philosopher. So how can a guy like me love everyone? It ain’t easy.

The first part is unraveling what love is. It’s not always what we think.

Love is an overused word, think romantic love, the love of sweets or a sports team, none are related.

“Loving everyone” means a deep compassionate love, and that is something we can do for all, even our worst enemies.

Not easily done, but certainly possible.
