Optional God

Is God optional?

I’d say yes, but at what loss?

Or cost?

No one has to connect with God. So let’s get that out of the way.

Salvation as a concept and in reality is a sticky conversation with many moving parts.

Putting that aside, let’s just stay with God.

Is there a reason to believe in God?

Are there benefits, pitfalls, cautions or detriments?

The truth is the reasons are deeply personal.

Each individual must decide for themselves and on their own if it’s meaningful or beneficial.

I hate the salesmanship of pastoring, selling God on a daily basis.

You don’t want it, fine. That’s your decision.

Yes, I attempt to make strong philosophical conclusions for the “why” of belief and the irrefutable benefits of faith.

I’m emphatic for sure…

But really, do as you please because I can’t sell you no matter how hard I try.

Only you can decide if it’s right for you or not.

For those of us who have faith, we’re “in the know” in a way that’s hard to communicate.

That’s why we say you have to experience it to know it.

What I will say is this, because I know God seeks those who seek Him, take a moment to first give it some thought.

If you’re willing, have chat with God.

Open yourself to the possibilities and say hello…and don’t rush.

Let yourself breathe in and out the freshness of Gods energy…

Go from there…

Peace…
