Is the world coming to an end?
Yes, Earth will be no more in billions of years when the sun burns out.
The Earth will have expired long before that in the process.
But when we speak of “the end of the world” we commonly mean the end of mankind.
It is our extinction that is the subject, because extinct or not, the Earth needs us not.
Tribal conflicts, along with individual ones, are written into the code of Homo Sapiens.
It is our nature.
God designed us to be that way for the evolution and survival of His grandest creation.
Along the way, our collective minds built a thriving civilization, in spite of the ups and downs through history.
I’m guilty of being a “finger waging / the world sucks” kinda person, that is half empty, and in some respects it is, but I’ve changed that negative tune to half full.
Ultimately, we’re doing ok and strive to improve overall, if only by increments and despite differing opinions on how to achieve it.
But, we must be cognizant of our collective foibles and huddle together amidst the competing desire for our individuality.
Evil is prevalent, make no mistakes about that.
Good must and will prevail!
Is mankind doomed?
Perhaps.
As time marches on, each of us must get their affairs in order to be on the right side of history.
Christ is a guide to that place.
Through Him good people with great minds and hearts will lead us through the tribulations into paradise.
Be strong and keep your faith.
