What tempts you?
Sex, drugs, adventure, money, luxury, travel, ambition?
We’re all tempted by something major, perhaps more than one thing, and certainly by lots of small things.
Why not give in to temptation?
Tough question to answer without giving the cookie-cutter response of “It’s bad” or “God will know” and so on.
The things you’re tempted by are most likely harmless.
In the end, being “mindful” is more relevant.
The black and white lines of yesteryear were important for ignorant humans who were yet to know things like psychology.
Religion makes strong cases for moral behavior, as it should, and in general they’re wise suggestions.
Temptation is not a bad thing out right, like being tempted to learn how to ride a motorcycle, but being mindful of what comes with it is key.
Being smarter humans today, we’re bombarded with choices and options that can be overwhelming.
Learn to be mindful and combine it with a powerful faith in God.
You’ll know what to do…
(BTW, don’t do drugs, that’s just stupid.)
