Spiritual Rebirth

It’s spring in North America and nature is waking from its wintry sleep.

Look out the windows and you’ll see the leaves coming back, the grass getting greener, and the flowers starting to bud.

It’s no wonder that Easter is at this time of year!

We know God’s timing is never off.

Never.

We may not be able to see God’s plan, but an infinite number of things are starting and stoping, finishing and being set up, on Earth and in the cosmos.

Something that finishes today started in the past, maybe recently or maybe a long time ago.

Flowers just don’t pop up, they’re seeded and patiently wait for their moment of magnificence.

Seems obvious once you pay attention to it, but that’s the thing, we don’t pay attention to it.

Humans are designed to be on autopilot; learn, practice, make it a habit, and repeat.

Paying attention requires a mind set that willfully focuses on the now.

The west mostly ignores it, preferring to perseverate about the past, and plan, plot or worry about the future, whilst the present remains on autopilot.

Some Christian practices center around the concept of being ‘born again’; Like spring, it’s a rebirth of the spirit once a person becomes committed, consciously and willfully, to a life lived with Christ.

It’s a beautiful concept.

We should all be reborn in Christ, Catholics et al.

Rebirth in spirit should happen regardless of your chosen religious place of worship.

Easter is the celebration of rebirth, Jesus’ resurrection from death.

We must be participants in this transformation year round, if not daily.

Be like the leaves and the flowers.

Awaken from your spiritual winter.

Grow strong and beautiful in your love and your faith.

And like the spring beauty all around you, share it with the world.

Be present, alive, not on autopilot.

“Peace and Gods eternal love on you, your family, friends and all you care for.”

“Peace and restoration be to all who are in need.”

In Christ’s name, I say these words and manifest them before God.
