Sunday worship is a wonderful thing for sure, enacted by spiritual leaders thousands of years ago, and by God in the Bible.
It’s meant to be a true day of rest, reflection and connection; something we look forward to the whole week; having the day off (if it applies), seeing others at our place of worship, family afterwards and so on.
Ministry is about inspiring and sharing the true nature of God, how and why we should be connected to Him, plus the ins and outs of a life full of The Spirit.
It’s a glorious thing!
We all have a spirit, even those who are convinced that’s it’s all nonsense have a spirit, perhaps it’s dormant or in some cases making a ruckus for attention but ignored or misunderstood.
If you’re struggling with this it’s not uncommon, most people do.
Modern humans are rife with endless distractions that cloud us from our inner selves.
Sunday worship is the opportunity to take a blower and cast the clouds away.
You’re denying yourself if you don’t give yourself the wellness recharge of God and Christ, at least once a week.
The benefits will pile up as your soul awakens and strengthens!
You’ll wonder why you haven’t done it all your life.
Remove the stigma of church being boring or constricting.
If your local church is a little drab or too finger-pointy go somewhere else.
You don’t have to attend the church that’s closest to you or the prettiest or for any particular reason.
Sample different ones until you find the right fit, then gradually incorporate God into your lifestyle and personality on a daily basis.
Don’t let others dictate how you should be because you’re a person of God and go to their church.
Let God be your personal endeavor, while also enjoying the richness of your local church on Sundays.
Every week, God will say, “we missed you!”
Peace and love…
