Why miracles?

What is a miracle?

The obvious ones most people can recognize, like a miraculous cure of cancer or a baby that came to her mama against the odds or maybe even facing death. 💕

But what else?

Is there anything else?

Are miracles only big?

As soon as you ask the questions it should become apparent that the answer is no, miracles are big and small, and plentiful, albeit if mostly hidden from view.

It starts with understanding the basics of Faith.

From that starting point all the magic happens.

You can go to church, pray 24/7, perform all the rituals you like (I know, I’m a broken record), but if you don’t have genuine connection to God you have nothing but empty behavior.

The key word is genuine; real, not fake, connection to God.

Use your payer apps and watch your movies, again they’re all fine and good, but are they actually taking you to God, or are they taking you to a community of well meaning people, but nothing more?

You see, you can’t fake a connection to God.

You can’t say it, then have it be, if it is in fact not so.

You can’t fool God.

The unfortunate part is that most, and I mean 99% of Christians, don’t get that concept at all.

They really don’t.

How do you know if you’re really connected or just going through the behaviors?

Not so easy to discern.

Those in the know, know.

Christian institutions have misled us (myself included until I learned otherwise), that making the declaration of being a Christian is good enough, when it’s not.

Listen to me carefully…

It is not!

Never was. Never will be.

It’s the start, but only the very beginning, and will go nowhere if not fostered beyond “hello”.

Each individual must connect with God privately and genuinely.

Not just once, but continually, forever.

There is no “set it and forget it” Christianity.

Miracles are the benefit of connection.

They occur because God wills it for His plans only and also for those deemed worthy.

Those connected to God will see more than those who don’t, if any.

Get connected! Stay connected!â„¢
