I know Him, not “you heard of him” or “thought about him”, but “you KNOW Him!”
And also boast “He knows me!”
That’s the difference between being connected to God and not being connected.
The same goes for Christ, not Jesus, Jesus is dead, but Christ.
For the people who are connected it shows and that’s why they seem like weirdos about it, because they’re that confident and assured and excited about it.
You can’t get excited about something that is not true in your heart or have no feelings for or no intellectual connection to.
If it ain’t there it ain’t there, so you must seek a genuine actual connection to it.
And when it is there, wow!
Think about a mother’s love for her child. She radiates that love! You can feel it just by being around her.
Imagine that with God.
It’s not just reserved for saints or anyone who’s achieved higher states of connectivity in faith.
We should and can have that connectivity every day, all day, under any circumstance.
Many people are connected to their religious institutions, but not necessarily connected to God.
They can defend their church, but are still ambivalent about God, when the whole point of going to church is to connect to God, that’s its purpose.
It cannot be over stated.
I know Him…
Peace…
