Do not be afraid, God is in you, always…

It is understandable that people need God right now. They’re seeking refuge in his houses of worship and in the people, who offer hope. But there is a far greater lesson, ‘He is already there with you.’

In this moment of Social Distancing, it’s the perfect time to learn that you don’t need anything but yourself to be connected to God, anywhere and anytime.

For the first time in human history we have a world order to stay indoors and not interact with each other. To the faithful, this means not being able to go to their places of worship and share in the commonality of their faith as they rely on these places to maintain their strength. Some churches have gone as far as defying the orders by meeting and taking the risk of spreading the virus with the justification that they are not afraid because God will assist and protect them.

9 And he took him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the temple and said to him, “If you are the son of God, throw yourself down from here, 10 for it is written, “’He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you.’ 11 and “’On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.’” 12 And Jesus answered him, “It is said, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 13 And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time.

The essence of Jesus’s teaching is simple to grasp. In the search for hidden meanings we sometimes overlook the plainly spoken words. ‘Do not temp God.’ God may in fact protect His own, but that doesn’t give His people license to be foolish.

Is the virus not real? Are people dying from it? Does the virus spread like nothing we’ve seen before? Yes, to all these. But those defying are wilfully testing God and risking the lives of others and in the name of Christ when He deliberately spoke for us not to. Being a child of God and follower of Christ is not a can-do-all license to do as you please. God is working through all the people across the world with finding solutions as quickly as possible. We must trust and show our faith by our patience and obedience.

It is understandable that people need God right now. They’re seeking refuge in his houses of worship and in the people, who offer hope. But there is a far greater lesson, ‘He is already there with you.’

Did Jesus run to the synagogue to speak with God or did he open his mouth and speak with assurance that He was ever present?

As the Apostles spread across the ancient world to teach the word of Christ, did God leave their side, even for a moment? No, God was more present. Was Paul alone in his prison cell left to suffer by himself? Never, and he spoke of that truth often, making it clear that his faith cannot be broken. Each of them believed beyond their circumstances, against all enemies.

If everything was stripped away from you are you less a child of God? Not so. Do you think God is with me more than with you because I am a Pastor? Not so. Do you think that a parent praying for their dying child by the bedside is farther away from God than someone sitting in a pew at the Vatican? Not so. Is anyone on earth more valuable than the next in Gods eyes? Not so.

If you want God tethered to your soul you must make the effort and stay connected every moment of your existence without question. That is what faith is.

Please, children of God, my heart is broken for all of you that do not know that He is with all His children that seek Him. Where you are at this moment is where you need to be, so just speak to Him. Christ is our protector under all conditions with no requirement other than belief in Him.

God’s people may be spread wider than we’re used to right now, but we can become closer and more connected in spirit, not by empty words or memes on social media, but from the inside of ourselves and with direct interaction with God who is almighty.

Do you believe that God is almighty? Then live as it is so. Know that it is so.

We do not fear the enemy, we are God’s children and we stand together regardless of how apart we are. We pray for ALL people of this earth. We leave no one out. Gods church is mother earth, and He is inside me and you right now. That is Gods promise and it is so.
