4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
– 1 John 4:1
How crafty do you think the enemy is? There is no way of discerning the good guys from the bad. The bad guys look like the good guys. Same clothes. Same lifestyle. Same everything.
Who is the enemy? They’re the good guy you run to when you’re running from the bad guys. Good Cop/Bad Cop is the game they invented when they realized that showing up in a red suit was kinda stupid, instead of playing both sides in a manipulative arena that they can control, like a shitty sci-fi that we’re all characters in, imprisoned for life.
So, you’re sentient, cognizant, looking over your shoulder, now what, perpetual paranoia or shut down your neural network and go with the flow?
A remarkable thing is the bible, that way back then they had perception enough to see many of the dangers and warn about it in the times when man was too ignorant to get anything other than SSS (except for the privileged educated few).
I blame religion, not the concept per se, but the practices. Religion is institutionalized human control. In many ways, the Greeks and the Romans had a better way as they understood the compartmentalization of human thoughts. God is this. Man is that. Then again, the Jews taught humanity that God is everywhere, in everything, and inescapable. We cannot have it both ways, yet both are viable. I’m intentionally simplifying it for brevity, but when thought of simplistically a couple of key points emerge:
- God is NOT religion.
- Religion is man-made.
- Religion has pitfalls.
- Freedom is not a simple option.
- False prophets exist that are hard to distinguish from the real ones.
Religion is the video game we’re destined to play, each title with its own perimeters. Even if you’re not for a religion it’s part of the video game that you are playing. There is no freedom in any game, regardless of the one you choose. There are rules to follow and that’s that. They’re programmed to function as intended, meaning there are ‘intentions’ by design, ‘game play’. Freedom is not one of them. Freedom is chaos. Religion is order, structure. Society is better off this way. The point is not anarchy, the point is knowing that you are in a system, born and existing in gameplay that already started and probably will always be, despite the philosophers who hope to free man from the tyranny of their own brains.
False prophets are the characters we encounter in normal game mode as we go about our daily lives. A false prophet may not be false in their sincerity, but mistaken in their reasoning and approach, which may or may not be due to the enemies interference, but the fallibility of humans. Either way, one must always be on guard for directions that will not take you to the proper destination. Start by knowing what that destination really is; what are the universal goals and those that are personal to you. Decide if you need a map or plan to wing it (but always bring an umbrella, because it inevitably rains, which may be good or bad).
On your journey you will encounter FP’s. Test me. Test everyone. Take nothing for granted. Life is a mind-fuck; a joyous, crazy, amazing, mind blowing, soul stirring adventure. Just watch out for the bad guys by developing keen observation and having insistence on your own terms for gameplay. As always, God’s got your back, if you ask.
