People are drawn to fun and run from the serious. Seems so obvious, but the implications are colossal.

Football is fun. Saving the world is not.

County music is fun. Classical is not.

New age spirituality with all the dime store paraphernalia is fun.

Christianity is not so fun.

Humans just wanna have fun, damn it! Serious people don’t get to sit at the cool kids table. But the fun people don’t change the world, ONLY the serious ones do.

Fun is for spectators. Serious is for those individuals that are serious about their lives. Get into the nitty gritty of anyone, even the super fun ones, and their success was built on keen seriousness about themselves, their work and the implications on their lives and others.

God is serious. Just look around and see His creations, all of it His doing.

Buddha was happy sitting under a tree and laughing life off until he died. Life was a big lark to him. Jesus was serious! He took on the establishments, gave his life for God, changed the world and was ACTIVE in the fight for souls.

Don’t sit in the generic world stadium laughing life off as one big joy ride.

Be serious about your own soul.
