The Heavens & Earth by A.R. Perez

The Heavens & Earth is an epic poem by accident. Originally composed for the artist’s series, Jesus Freak: Rock Opera, it exponentially grew in scope, exceeding its original concept for inclusion in the series, to become a stand alone work. Written when the author was near fatally ill, its achievement is epic in scale. The modern stream of consciousness verse is taught and philosophical, whilst its narrative sweeps like an ancient tale of the birth of the universe written by future generations of humans, outside the constraints of conventional wisdoms; mixing poetic verse with philosophy, science, and spirituality as told from the conceptual mind of The All.
