We’ve entered the future, is it the beginning of dystopia or the proselytized tech Eden?
Pundits on both sides keep weighing in.
The truth, as is usually the case, will be a mixture of both; rarely when looking back is history black and white.
Preparation is not just for the foil hat wearing crazies; it’s a human dilemma unfolding in real time.
God’s plan?
If intelligent life was by design, then the benefits and pitfalls of learning and applying knowledge are the natural outcomes.
Theologically and philosophically speaking, survival comes down to ethics. It is the backbone of civilization, ours or any other intelligent species.
God or not, ethical creation and deployment will foster a civilization’s wellbeing and save it from the foreseeable dystopian outcomes that are inevitably possible.
Eden is possible, but not probable.
